House Seeded Loaf

DERU signature gluten free loaf! Can be used in place of bread or crackers. Delicious whether you can enjoy gluten or not! Made with organic seeds: sunflower, pumpkin, flax, chia. Toasted almonds and organic oats. 

SERVING SIZE: Half 6-8 slices. Full 12-16 slices.

STORAGE: Keep at room temperature. Freeze what you don't use for up to three months, wrap tightly in plastic wrap before freezing. 

DIETARY: Gluten free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian

HEATING INSTRUCTION:

*Focaccia can be enjoyed sliced at room temperature or toasted. Toasting directions below:

OVEN

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Slice in appox. 1/4" slices.
  3. Lay flat on baking tray, if desired brush with butter or drizzle with olive oil (bread can be dry toasted as well)
  4. Place tray on middle rack if possible.
  5. Toast in oven until golden brown, approx. 8-10 minutes, flip halfway through.

STOVETOP

  1. Slice in approx. 1/4" slices.
  2. Place heavy bottomed pan on stovetop over medium-high heat. 
  3. Drop a couple tablespoons of butter or olive oil, allow to heat/melt. (You can also dry heat bread in skillet, be careful not to burn)
  4. Place slices in heated pan for a couple minutes on each side or until it is golden brown. Use spatula to flip over.
